'The environmentally friendly bio fire'
Fireplaces have been at the heart of our homes since humans discovered fire. In every culture in every country across the globe, you will find a fireplace in one form or another. If you don't fancy an open fire in the middle of you living room like in the days of spears and stones, then a standard gas fire is a step way forward. But...what if you have no chimney or gas connection?
Well, there is an alternative - Bio Fires.
The levels of gas released from the bio ethanol burners are so safe that you can light the fire and doze off and no harmful levels of gas will have been produced while you were counting sheep. These bio burners can be installed in any room of the house without the need for a chimney or flue.
There are 3 options for creating your own fireplace:
A drop in burner- Using one of our drop in burners, you can design your own surround, whether is wood, marble or stone and simply drop the burner into the chamber of the fire.
A hole in the wall fire - Use one of our chamber inserts and a bio burner to achieve this timeless effect.
A bio burner - If you already have an existing surround and don't want to cut into the plinth, you can simply use a bio burner and slide it into place.

The bio burner is constructed from heavy gauge steel and employs a porous ceramic block to store the bio ethanol fluid.
The porous ceramic soaks up the bio ethanol like a sponge and then releases it in a controlled manner when required.
When our bio fires are compared to others, be sure to ask about the burners. Our bioethanol burner is TUV approved and is one of the only bio fire in Europe with a TUV safety approval stamp.
The advantages of this system are:
1) Controlled release of the bio ethanol fluid, which extends the burn time of 1 litre of bio ethanol and therefore reduces the running costs.
2) The porous block absorbs the fluid so that in the event a burner is knocked over, the bio ethanol is contained within the block and doesn't spill on to the surrounding area.
3) The flame height is controlled by the consistent release rate of the porous block.

Step by step guid to creating a fireplace
ORDER
The user first cuts a chamber into the wall and places one of the inserts into the chamber. After this, the user simply slides the burner(s) into the insert and then you a beautiful hole in the wall bioethanol fire.
